6 Hour Correspondence Study Course

The purpose of this course is to develop a system of documentation that supports the delivery of care to the residents you serve. Throughout this course the student will assess resident needs, develop a care plan, establish goals along with expected outcomes, document interventions, and evaluate the accuracy of the care plan. 

The instructor has incorporated various methods of learning into this course giving the student an opportunity for hands on learning.

The correspondence course format is designed to allow the student to work at their own pace with completion within 60 days of registration. Developed and taught by a professional with over 23 years experience in the activity field

MEPAP Part 1 and 2
Second Edition Home Study Format

The Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) 2nd Edition is designed for those persons who are employed or plan to be employed as Activity Professionals in long term care settings. These include; nursing homes, assisted living, board and care homes, or other retirement communities. The MEPAP 2nd Edition consists of a minimum of 360 hours. Course content includes homework assignments, research, on site experience, client interaction, book and movie review and analysis, peer interviews as a few examples, and a final exam. The student will learn leadership skills, professional networking, resource compiling, assessment, and documentation.

The Home Study course format is designed to allow the student to work at their own pace with completion within 12 months of registration. Developed and taught by a professional with over 23 years experience in the activity field.

These courses are approved by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP)
