: : Hi all,
: : Just curious. What date do you have your residents Christmas Party? Where I worked previously, we had it on Dec. 23rd, Where I'm at now It's on the 24th. Several of the staff, act. staff, cna's, nursing etc. all are complaining about that. They are in a rush to leave early that day.
: : Also, Do any of you work on Christmas day? Do you have anything special on Christmas day?
Due to space limitations, we have the condo side on one day and the assisted living side a week later. It changes from year to year. This year is a come and go tea for residents and family. I have a super guy playing the Wurlitzer(donated) with lovely Christmas background music. One down next on the 19th. We had a silver tea service, fancy snadwiches and dainties. They thought it was tres elegant. Wear a Santa Hat and it will all work out.
: : Thanks Ann H

: We have 3 floors. We have a family /resident party on the 14th. One in the morning (brunchy like)for one floor......... the other floor in the PM. The next floor has it on the 17th after dinner. Yes, I have to agree having the parties too close to Xmas is too stressfull!
