Some of our most successful Men's group programs were a high school football player who brought in and demonstrated all of his gear, a fishing vest, complete with all sorts of stuff in the pockets to handle and remember, some different kinds of ties to feel and try to tie, and of course trips (to see belly dancers, to ball games (they especialy liked Little League) and meal trips.
It did work best when there was a male leader. We were fortunate to have men in the department, but I've also pressed maintenance workers and Summer Youth Employees into service.
