: I am wanting to start a men's group for the alert men in my facility. Does anyone have any ideas for activities to include in this group. I ask the men, but they always say what ever you want to do. Thanks for any help.

We started a men's and ladies groups a few months ago. The ladies are easy to plan for--but the men take some thinking. One month we showed a Burma Shave video and a variety of shaving equipment used over the years. Another month we featured baseball and had some equipment to reminisce over. Last month we did a tailgate party and had football gear. We featured airplanes one month. Next month we will feature hunting and have a served buffalo burgers. We try to have a snack that fits in with the topic. We have been unsuccessful in getting ideas from the men--we look to see what their interests have been and are and go from there. We don't get a huge turnout, but the men who do come enjoy this get together. My goal is to find some male volunteers to host this event so it would truly be a Men Only party, but so far I have had to rely on my staff who are all females. We, too are always on the outlook for ideas so if anyone has any, please share!
