So far we have "Ice Fishing" (filling a swimming pool with ice and stuff (cheap $1.00 store finds) making fish poles from dowel rods, paperclips for hooks...sitting around and fishing the stuff out of the frozen pond
Snowman making....again filling the swimming pool with snow and making a snowman and family...then taking bets on how long it will take for them to melt
Snowman Soup Cart.......on sale candy canes left over from Christmas.....in Hot Cocoa Room to Room
Hot Tea Cart and Fresh Fruit Cart 1-1 activities including anything that one might put in tea. Including Fresh Lemons
Football playoffs with hot dogs and beer
Suzy Snowflake Tea and we invited another nursing home to include finger sanwiches and tea and little desserts
Snowman Racing..we make a variety of snowmen from cardstock so that they fit over the horses in our horse racing set and we race snowmen
Guess the snowfall amount...........by Fab. 1, 2005! The person closest wins a gift certificate to the next clothing service
Making crystal snowflakes for our Science Club...out of borax and bluing
Chili Cookoff with staff making the chili and residents judging
