Get out those small toaster ovens, and buy a package of premade cookies, just drop and bake or slice and bake! They make the units smell sooo good, and what is more festive than warm cookies at the holiday? Put the oven on a cart for safety, in the case you have to leave quickly, you can take it with you. For a longer activity, buy a container of white icing and some colorful toppings or sprinkles. Give each resident a sugar cookie, a blob of icing, and a selection of trims on a plate. They can ice, and decorate their cookie...judge em...best, funniest, most colorful, yummiest looking etc... then, they get to eat em! Your cookies won't require these, but have: rolling pins, aprons, cookie cutters, cookbooks, measuring cups and spoons etc... to be handled and spark reminiscence discussion.
