This takes some research, but is well worth it! Try some "theme" programs. The simplest way is to get some Lawrence Welk videos - he has themes every week. Then, get some trivia, "show & tell" items, info about the theme, or play a game around the theme and intersperse it with the music. Or get a tape/CD of a particular composer or singer, get info on him/her, play some music, discuss the person. The most time consuming is to pick a theme and "hunt" for music that has that theme and play a variety of songs. Could be seasonal or general such as Fall, Thanksgiving, Flowers, Travel, Countries, etc. For example, if you chose flowers, get some trivia about flowers, some real flowers, then find songs about flowers such as "Moonlight & Roses", "Daisy", "Lonely Little Petunia", etc. Let me know if you want more ideas or explanation! Hope this helps!
