My facility currently has a van driver who takes residents to and from appointments. When ever I want to plan an outing I always check the appt book for a clear day and always ask the adminstrator for that day. I will put in a note for no other appt be planned on that day if at all possible. Yet and still I always end up rescheduling or coming back early or leaving late because of unnessecary appts. How can I fix this or is it something I need to go to the DON about?
