The very first thing that I would do is to go to Garage Sales. I am fortunate enough to have a volunteer who loves them, but a Saturday of Garage Saling would be in order. CHEAP STUFF and if you tell them what you are doing sometimes FREE!
I would look for pre-loved stuffed animals, pillows, fabric, baby clothing, "antique" stuff, old suitcases (for storage), hat boxes, hats, tea cups, cards, aromatherapy and massage "machines",thermal carafes for hot tea, flannel pillow cases,pre-used games and other items that can be used on a cart.
I would also check the facility for used Med Carts as they have drawers to store stuff in and can be decoupaged for a "Sensory Cart
