My boss recently attended a seminar regarding survey readiness. Apparently, one facility that the speaker consulted at got a deficiency for not providing at least one program for dementia residents that are not living on the dementia unit. We are trying to come up with something either new, or that we can point to on our existing calendar that will fit this catagory. As it stands, there are quite a few folks with a dx of dementia off of the special care unit, and we more or less (for lack of a better term) "integrate" them into our "regular" programming. Help.......
