I work for an assisted living & independent living facility. My residents play for "funny" money; then once a month I have a "funny money store". I buy EVERYTHING from toiletries, make-up, socks, snacks, puzzle books, to everything you can think of. I get all the items from the $1.00 store so it costs me about (on average) $25.00 a month (that's only if they buy me out one month). I usually start out the first game for $1.00 and go up from there with about $10.00 for black-out. Remember thats funny money! Then I make a comment that taxes and inflation has gone up so badly these days that I have to charge $20.00 for kleenex! hahaha Of course this is just another way of "delayed gratification"! hahaha They get to spend there money on items that they want not whats given to them. They love it! Good luck!
