: Hi All.
: I am working on my calendar, which i am way behind, however, I am putting on an evening program M,W,F with one of my part time girls who can not physically transport any residents. I wanted to put on One to One Visits, but I don't like the way that looks or sounds.
: I am looking for an idea, that does not require transporting residents. She works mainly on our medicare unit, does all admission assessments, etc.
: What can i NAME THE ACTIVITY? or put in that block to give it some Pizazz....Any and all help would be great. Only 2 more days to finish that calendar.
I'm curious, Why can't your assistants transport residents? Are they physically limited or do they not have the time?
I was thinking you could do a humor cart. They would have a cart filled with all kinds of things to make the residents laugh. They could go down the hall with these items on the cart and do crazy little things to make the residents smile. This could be called "The Happy Hour" or "The Goofy Girls".
If your Assistants don't have sence of humor you could do a Magozine or Puzzle cart. Take magozines, books, word puzzles, cards or any other activity they could do on their own. You could call it the "Book Mobile".
Hope this helps.
