We play six games on Sat. afternoons. I usually have a choice of prizes. (2 envelopes with $.50 each, and then 3 smaller prizes like hand lotion, stationary, etc...) The last game is a "fill-up" and I try to have something big like a sweatshirt or something. All of our prizes come from donations from an area church at Christmas, so we have to make them last! We have a snack bar and we used to give away a gift certificate good for a bag of chips and a pop, or a cup of coffee and a cookie. We added another Bingo game to our calendar recently by popular demand. However, there was no way to stretch the prizes, so we play for raffle tickets. Every quarter, we pull a ticket out of the hopper and give away something nice like a cheap radio from Walmart. We call it "Simply Bingo" so that it would be clear to them not to expect the usual prizes. It's more casual and relaxed, while they are out for blood at the "regular" bingo session!
