I am a month early. Not knowing that this should have waited for November...LOL...we are having a 50's "diner" themed dinner party this Thursday. We are decorating the place like "Al's Diner" on Happy Days with old records and such. We are serving a home cooked type of meal (meatloaf, mashed taters, green beans, and cherry cobbler) hambergers would have been better but we just had them for our "Take me out the the ball game" theme a few months ago. I am trying to get the staff to wear clothes from that time or maybe old fashioned waitress uniforms (if I can find some..no luck yet but I still have 2 days...LOL) One staff memeber even said he would wear roller skates....we will see how that goes ~smile~. Maybe this idea will work for your place?
