How about a gift bag, basket or dish with wrapped snacks - popcorn to microwave, hot chocolate, pretzels, candy, list goes on and on.

A hot/cold pack they can put in the microwave to heat or in the freezer. I made our residents feet warmers one year and they loved them. You sew a bag together, fill with rice and make a pocket to stick their feet in. They microwave it about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes and it stays warm quite a while. The ladies with cold feet really used it alot.

Happy holidays. Gayle

: Thanks for all your previous responses but this halloween thing keeps popping up.i have two seatings for dinner at my community, (assisted and independent) so dressing for dinner really doesnt have the big effect cus the early dinners go back to their rooms right away. who has entertainment or a holiday party and what time of day or day do you recognize halloween for retirement communities.

: and what about holiday gifts for residents - we will not be giving regular presents but would like to offer something to all the residents. last year we did cookie mixes in a jar, but that was done through by the executive chef who is no longer there. any ideas for same gifts for 80 people.
: Thanks so much
