: : Actually I am working on designing a software program for activity participation. I have submitted what I want in the program and I have a software developer working on putting it all together and hope to have it ready for November.
: : The program will hopefully have the following:
: : -it will allow you to use codes such as: A - active participation P - passive participation R - refused etc. Then at the end of the month it will total everything.
: : -you will be able to put in your days activites for attendance and it will go to the next month without having to input the activities that occur on a regular basis again
: : -I am hoping it will make graphs also. (ie) You could make a graph that shows what type of programs a certain resident is participating in such as mental games, social programs etc.
: : -it will also have one year of activity attendance on 1 page - which makes it nice for doing quarterlies - everything is on one page.
: : -it will make an activity calendar and will adjust the fonts to be as big as the square will allow
: : I am hoping to market this software but am a bit skeptical that I will not be able to sell enough to make my money back. It is quite expensive and the money will be coming out of my own pocket. I may also have a problem marketing it in the States as I live in Canada. Let me know what you all think of this? Is it something anyone would be interested in. I am just inquiring for my own information. Thanks to anyone who can give me some input.

: This sounds wonderful. I think your marketing would depend on if you could interest the corporation. I'm catching up on my posts and noticed a lot of them reflect the overwhelming amount of paperwork. If this would help minimize time spent there I think it would be awesome
I would definetly be interested in that program. I know that there are some already out there as I used one when I was completing an internship in a skilled facility. Unfortunately, I can't remember what it was called. Keep me informed when you get this completed...I might be a customer!
