: Does anyone know of a good computer program for participation documentation? I am tired of writing the participation record day in and day out......not to mention the amount of space all of the paper takes up in my office! Just looking for something new!
: Thanks:)

Actually I am working on designing a software program for activity participation. I have submitted what I want in the program and I have a software developer working on putting it all together and hope to have it ready for November.
The program will hopefully have the following:
-it will allow you to use codes such as: A - active participation P - passive participation R - refused etc. Then at the end of the month it will total everything.
-you will be able to put in your days activites for attendance and it will go to the next month without having to input the activities that occur on a regular basis again
-I am hoping it will make graphs also. (ie) You could make a graph that shows what type of programs a certain resident is participating in such as mental games, social programs etc.
-it will also have one year of activity attendance on 1 page - which makes it nice for doing quarterlies - everything is on one page.
-it will make an activity calendar and will adjust the fonts to be as big as the square will allow
I am hoping to market this software but am a bit skeptical that I will not be able to sell enough to make my money back. It is quite expensive and the money will be coming out of my own pocket. I may also have a problem marketing it in the States as I live in Canada. Let me know what you all think of this? Is it something anyone would be interested in. I am just inquiring for my own information. Thanks to anyone who can give me some input.
