I have started a jewelry Bingo, a family member passed away and we got a lot of jewelry from her and donated it to the center. It has gone over great. I later put a notice in our newsletter and asked if any family member or friends would like to donate any old jewelry (out of style) and I got a great responce. Later came up with a yard sale and all proceeds will go to the center for the activities. Residents that are moving in or have their homes to sale and don't know what they are going to do with their stuff tell them about the yard sale and would they like to donate any thing to the sale. this has gone over great. They love to help in anyway they can. Hope this helps.
