We have lots of theft at our facility if anything is left in the dining area - lots of activity supplies. EVERYTHING is kept under lock and key. I have even resorted to only using disposable decorations because I've had huge items stolen - one being a registered flag from our state capital, even had a certificate, right off the wall!!!
Let me know what you come up with for prevention, other than just not putting anything up! My residents deserve the best!

: We are in the process of designing a program for nursing homes and assisted livings on crime prevention. We are trying to cover areas that are not normally covered such as how to keep your money safe and magazine scams. Can you tell me what is happening in your facilities as far as crime goes and any ideas that you might have that would be helpful
