Hi Peg, do you need spanish activities? lessons? ideas? holidays? books? literature?
I am in San Antonio and work at a facility that 80% speak Spanish, either bilingual or as their only language. This puts me at a slight disadvantage, being a white, English only speaking person. My residents get along with em well because they enjoy teaching me Spanish, which might be a good activity for your resident and yourself along with other residents.

You would love the game Loteria, (just punch Loteria in yahoo search) which is the Spanish form of Bingo and that your resident would most likely relate to.

Favorite San Antonio holiday? Fiesta! Which is actually any party at all, but is a citywide celebration for about 2 1/2 weeks in April (so much fun! look it up in almost any San Antonio tourist website.

Have I helped a little?

Don't hesitate to email me with more questions! I could even ask some of my residents to write to yours if he'd like!

San Antonio, Texas
