: After Christmas, when the winter blahs creeped in we did a "secret friend" activity in which all staff members were "strongly encouraged" to participte. it was done annonomously,each person picked a name out of a hat. special treats, poems gifts etc..you can set your own guidelines as far as spending and things go It was great fun we did it for several months before we revealed whose name we had. chuches often do this as secret sisters. we will definately do it again next year, could be done anytime: We have been racking our brains to come up with staff team building ideas and we would love to hear from any of you that may have some new ideas to share. We are always working toward building the morale at our facility. We do staff appreciation days, employee of the month, we plan staff activities with the residents, example: horse races with staff as the jockeys riding stick horses, remote control car races, relay races, special theme parties where staff dress accordingly etc. We just need a few new and exciting ideas to add so if anyone can help my brain is getting fried!!!!
