Here in the state of Ma. our charts at our LTC facility had an Activity section to file legal monthly docs and it was my understanding that we need the last six months filed and then they were thinned out by a medical records person.It is much easier for the surveyers to see rather to trot down to the activity office to view.It might be a reg. in your state or just a facility policy. In my opinion, we need to cooperate with the adminstartion as much as possible for the sake of respect and credibility.
