:For Italian Day, I got together with Dietary. We had an Italian Themed lunch for every resident. The table cloths were red checkered (plastic), the napkins were Italian and purchased through a catalogue (I think M&N), the music was from an Italian staff member on tape, centerpieces were jars with tall pastas in the middle and Italian colors for helium balloons, and dietary made an Italian lunch and dessert. We decorated the dining room, wore Italian colors and activites helped serve the banquet style lunch!
