What are you doing to ensure the residents are safe while smoking? One idea (which will be a little tough to do) is to make sure those residents deemed "unsafe" are supervised at all times when they are smoking. We initated limited smoking times, is this feasible for your facility?!?!? Also, do you have smoking aprons for those who may drop a lit cig on their clothing, cigarette holders for those who may burn their hands? Just a few things to think about.
