I did a search for information on resources for the Blind on the internet and found the following links:
National Federation for the Blind http://www.nfb.org/

American Foundation for the Blind http://www.afb.org/

A Blind Net http://www.blind.net/blindind.htm
(You will need to search through this website and click on the links they have, but they have a HUGE list of links to resources!)

American Printing House for the Blind http://www.aph.org/

Also, the first step that I always use is to review their initial assessments and find out what they like to do and then adapt the program for them. You could also start a Support Group and invite your local association for the Blind to join in.
