Once a month the ladies (on Saturday afternoons) make homemade soup. We then have a soup and salad lunch once a month with the cooks being applauded! They have made some amazing homemade, home recipe soups, stews and roasts. With the residents doing the cooking it's standing room only. They think up the theme each month and cook accordingly. We also have take out from a different restaurant once a month as transportation is such that you are limited on who can go.
