Hi! I'm an AD for an assisted living and Alz unit .In my facility we have 30 on the assisted living unit and 12 in the alz. unit. No one helps me. I am the only one in my department. The only time activities get done is when I'm there. I only get 20 hours though. With no one helping me it takes me a 1/2 an hour or so to get everyone rounded up.(even though I give them all calendar it seems like NO ONE READS them)Once I get everyone rounded up the ones i got first have left because I took too long. It is sooo hard to conduct an activity like this. On both units I am suppose to have 3 activities so all I get do is running around gathering people up. Most of my planning I have to do at home because I just don't have time at work. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?
