I do not feel you should develop articles for other departments. I would put in a short blurb like this. "The Dietary department has nothing to report this month." Period. Where is their incentive to write something when if they do not you just do it any way? Why not do them less often, maybe quarterly, or focus on one department each month.... I would instead focus on the residents and activities which you do know about. There are lots of sources for health info if you want to include one of those articles monthly...a recipe of the month is ok, as are reports of new births, weddings in res families and staff too, activitiy reviews, upcoming activities, resident of the month( do an interview), staff member of the month, monthly trivia, horoscope, seasonal reminiscences....the list is endless!
