For theme groups, look into getting, or checking out of the library, BiFolcal kits. They are on old fashioned topics our folks can appreciate. they come with either video or audio tapes and song books, assorted "artifacts" to go with the theme, and discussion booklets. There is also a instructors' book that suggest how to lead discussion, etc. Some topics I have used include, Railroads, School days, something about Old cars, Victory Gardens, and hats. There are at least 25 different kits and lots of libraries have them. They are usable for anything from 1=1 to fairly large groups.
