: I need various games that are 10-15 minutes long that are appropriate for a tea party. Any suggestions?
: Thanks
We have a quarterly tea party(one in every season). In June will be our 5th one. What we do is have a speaker from the outside come in and talk about a particular subject. For example, we had a local news caster come and speak about her life and how she overcame the trials and tribulations in the passed(motivational speaking) Then in December at our "christmas Tea" one of our older activity staff members dressed up as Mrs. Clause and spoke about her husband Santa ina monolugue. It was hilarious. She stayed in character the whole party. We usually just have door prizes, music and a speaker and then some soft music. The residents come in sit down, get a cup of tea and a plate full of goodies, the music plays while they eat, the speaker comes in and talks, then we pull the names for the door prizes. Its goes smoothly and its just enough for the residents. They really enjoy it. If you need any more suggestions email me at amy9132002@hotmail.com!
