:I am a CNA also,and the nursing dept. will take advantage of the AD . I can clip all ,except for the diabetics.Most Cna's don't take the time or the want to ,which really upsets me . And your right they sometimes don't even wash their hands. I often wonder ,do they wash their hands in between taking care of the residents. Check with your DON or Adm. to see who is suppose to do the nail care. I know when I worked at another facility about 10 years ago the CNA/CMA's did all but the diabetics
