We used to make simple rag dolls, some in the shape of animals for the local police dept. They used them to comfort small children involved in accidents, crimes, fires,etc. We also made little wooden toys that we gave to Toys for Tots and the Elks for Christmas projects. Another group made knit and crocheted hats and scarves for the homeless.
