I guess I read this wrong, but this resident behavior is for attention and for hoarding of items. The resident needs to reinburse you for the items that she wants you to purchase for her, or make due with what you have. The behavior will spiral out of control and soon you will be spending more money than you make. I would let the resident go through the items that I have and if she want special items, well she has to pay for them. She is manipulating you for attention.
