I'm interested in unusual ideas and materials/items that ya'll have used with diversional activity baskets for confused patients--- something besides the usual stuffed animals, laundry folding, etc.
Also, what sort of success have ya'll had using rocking chairs for confused patients who wander? Have gliders worked better? Just looking for ideas as part of our restraint reduction. Our hospital SNU doesn't get alot of confused, Alzheimer's type patients but thought I could present to the acute care side- you know, gain some points for the SNU :) Thanks.
