Time will prove your abilities in your new position. Trust me, the administrator will find out within the next month or two when nursing starts talking about the resident's change in attitude and how they are suddenly attending activities. Time goes by very quickly when you're busy, so stick with it. Sounds like your facility NOW has a capable and caring Activity Director. Enjoy the ride and don't look back!
