You really do not have to do any documentation in assisted living. You would be well advised to save all of your old activity calendars and to keep a good system of screening volunteers. Upon admission it would be a good practice to do an initial activity screen but keep it simple, name, date of admission, interests. I would only document things in the resident charts if it happened to be a major problem.
